3 Ways Transport: FAQs
Q. What size vans do you have?
A. For our house removals we always send in out Jumbo Luton van which has a tail lift. For removals that are small and only have boxes, bags etc we do have Sprinter panel vans.
Q. Do you work weekends?
A. Yes we do but please bare in mind everyone wants to move at the weekend so these slots are strictly on a first come first served basis.
Q. How many men will you send for my removal?
A. As standard all our house removals have a minimum 2 man team, on certain occasions where 2 vans or you request a 3 man team this is possible.
Q. Do you sell boxes?
A. Yes we have a box shop in Orton Southgate, Peterborough that sells a large variation of boxes, bubble wrap, tissue paper etc
Q. Will my TV be insured without a box?
A. No sorry all items we move will be need to be securely wrapped or boxed. If you need a TV Box we sell these in out box shop
Q. Do you move pianos?
A. Yes of course, on certain piano removals we will do a site visit first to make sure access points etc are safe and clear for our workforce and your goods.
Q. Do you take animal?
A. No sorry we cant take animals in out vehicles
Q. Can we travel in the van to our new house?
A. No sorry our insurance doesn’t allow for us to carry passengers with or without your consent.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes we are fully insured for goods in transit, public liability, employers liability & hire reward.
Q. Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
A. Unfortunately this is something we cant offer.
Q. Do you provide Self Storage?
A. We dont have our own storage facilities, but we highly recommend Armadillo Self Storage in Westwood 01733 334222 please mention 3 Ways Transport Ltd when enquiringly.
Q. How much will my removal cost me?
A. We are able to pop out and give a price so this is fixed or we have our low cost hourly rate. All our guys are instructed never to drag a job like other companies so you can be assured of a quick and effective turnaround.
Q. How much notice do you need?
A. Our diary changes daily, either with bookings or cancellations so the best thing to do is once you have a removal date give us a call or email and we can let you know availabiliy.. some times we available next day if we have had a job rearrange etc.
Q. How can I pay you?
A. We accept Cash, Debit Cards, Credit Cards(2% charge or £2.00) or BACS(cleared funds 48 hrs before removal date) No Cheques
Q. How much is the deposit?
A. We don’t take any deposit unless your booking a set amount of hours. But please understand if you cancel 48 hours before your removal their is a £50 charge. If you cancel on the day we will charge 100% of quoted price or £80
Q. Are you vans clean?
A. Yes all our vans are clean and less than 4 years old, you can be assured that all our vehicle are swept out and ready to work for each job. We never do tip runs.
